About Practice Fusion®

This electronic health record system is web-based and completely free. You need only desktop computers with internet access, The only other hardware you need is a scanner.

The software meets the "meaningful use" criteria which means you qualify for HITECH EMR incentives of up to $44,000 per provider based on your annual Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement.

It checks for drug-drug, drug-food, drug-disease and drug-allergy interactions. Prescription records are tied directly to the patient for easy reference.

• Seamlessly order and receive labs. The program is integrated with the country's top laboratory companies to streamline your lab order workflow. View lab results online within the context of your patient's chart.

• Patient Fusion® is the free, online personal health record (PHR) platform that connects directly to your medical practice – your patients can play a more active role in their own health care by instantly and securely accessing their medical chart and medication and immunization history.

• The software will automatically grow with your practice. There are no restrictions on the number of patients, records or users for your Electronic Health Record account.

• Learn and implement at your own pace. Because Practice Fusion's EHR is free and flexible, you can transition your office in stages rather than all at once. Start with key features such as charting, e-prescribing or scheduling and adopt other features in stages when your practice is ready.

• Charting features that include past medical history, Dx history and Rx list along with SOAP notes and case review documentation mean that the way you manage patient encounters is improved, not drastically changed.

• Data is verified automatically. For example, a patient's blood pressure can't be saved if entered incorrectly. These verifications reduce the review time needed before signing.

• The support team offers live training sessions and demos by phone every day. In addition, they offer a library of tutorial videos online and live, interactive training sessions.

• The program integrates with Kareo online practice management software. It does not integrate with any other practice management software at this time, however, other imports are currently in development.
